things are getting better! (:
back from debate! 3e3 won! jiayou, guys (to nic neo, chisun, ryan, fazlina and xinyi)! let's do this class proud! it wasn't very hiong and we kept firing questions which were unanswered. well anyways, although this debate doesnt benefit us in terms of CA marks or CCA points, i believe it will equip us with better understanding and background knowledge of certain things. like now, i realise how science actually have more potential to kill humans, ecosystems and this earth we're living on right now, let alone how global warming and pollution has really affected many countries and killed millions of billions already. debating will also boost my confidence level and allow me to overcome stage fright. presenting verbally will also prepare me for the EOYs oral. idk, but i guess i was the weakest speaker of my group; they were all hiongsters k! my team mates are great buddies to work with! gay had been a FAT help to me in terms of refining my speech and giving me ideas &stuffs! thanks! through this debate, the friendship between karen and me had strengthened. i've changed my impression of weijun and in fact, he's a really nice guy! like when i'm tryna get everyone's attention, he's the only one who would listen. -_- teoyang seemed to be able to communicate with me better thanks to being in the same team. even if we never get to 1. be the winner team, 2. be best speaker, and 3. get prizes, i know that it's all worth it! sometimes, winning isn't everything. it's the experience and participation, and most importantly, the FUN that really truly count! of course, i'm not deeming that we'll slacken and lose the next round lah, but instead, we'll quan li yi fu and make our class proud! JYJYJY, gambateh~!
FOP was a blast! i heart praise!!! Rev. Mark Conner joker siol! what he said really made me LOL. the Word was impactful; a Word in season. do not be obsessed in temporary materials of the earth, but be a friend of God so that we will have eternal life. i believe in that, and i shouldn't be afraid of death.
