t'day is so darn cool! we had a programme on "DISCovering your personality". there are 4 different catagory of character namely D, I, S and C. after doing the questionaire, i had nothing else to do so i flipped and read through the personality system overview of DISC. i predicted i'd be C, andddd.. guess what? i turned out to be C! quoted from the given book, C means compliant and correct. General Chracteristics: Accurate; Analytical, Conscientious; Careful, Fact-Finder; Precise; High Standards, Systematic. Value to Team: Perspective: "The anchor of reality". Conscientious and even tempered. Thorough in all activites. Defines situations; gathers, criticizes and tests information. Possible Weaknesses: Needs clear-cut boundaries for actions/relationships. Bound by procedures and methods. Gets bogged down in details. Prefers not to verbalize feelings. Will give in rather than argue. Greatest Fear: Criticism. err, some are true, while others are not. don't expect too much of me there. we were to get into our groups and karen's in th same group as me. then the whole class was to be grouped in random four groups and try to build a straw tower. apparently, my opinion was to build a bigger base (prolly 2 straws by 2 straws), but when i voiced out my opinion, nobody gave an effing damn. lolll. i was right lah; group 2 also built a pyramid and their larger base made the whole tower stable. through this group work, i guess i really am a C person, whereby i'm passive and quiet by nature (and often neglected or treated invisible in a group), but i do think a lot. and when i analyze something properly, nobody gave me any attention. &i'm not that offended cuz my intention is not to seek attention. k anw, my behaviour style, C.S, determined my pattern name to be a precisionist. uh, so did xinyi and karen. initially i did not believe in personality tests and chracter questionaires and the likes, but this time round, the results somehow fit me. is this, then, the true me?
i bought a flexible curve for $4.50 from the school bookshop and thanks to Chi Sun, who told me t'day's emath test included graph sketching only, i refunded it back almost a few minutes later. :D thanks, pal! the emath test was kind of easy, apparently. i think i screwed the last few questions only, heh heh. amath test tmr, onoz. dreadfulllll~
my happy day ended too soon - as soon as recess was over, we were to attend a math talk by a big-shot prof. w/e.
