in Christ i feel so alive!
yessssss! i finally found the school library book i've been searching for since like what, febuary? it's 'The Man Who Hated Television' by Julian Symons. i am so vehvehveh SEXITED! also, i borrowed another book from the school library called 'The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants' by Ann Brashares. ok quit laughing at her surname although i know it's kind of hard not to. d: the cover of this book caught my eye (it's green, you see). yeah, &it's kind of new sooo i borrowed it without hesitation! hah! i thought i'd never read another book til maybe the holidays or smth. how unfortunate that miss seah hadta come up with this policy whereby we have to bring reading materials to english period on wednesdays and do silent reading for a whole period. &&miss seah has facebook! she showed us pictures she took at japan and shared with us about geishas and japanese vending machines, lol.
mr kenny han taught us geography today. his forte lie in PE and CME i know. LOL i tried my veh best to pay attention &he's veh nice to try his best to explain to us about map-reading. at least he doesn't want us to have geog supplementary lessons to make up for today, how pleasing.
mrs quah took childcare leave and hence, miss kim is here to teach us chem instead. i'm surprised that for MYE, i ranked 7th position for chem and 11th position for bio. not bad for a start, i reckon. let's see, according to joy, L1R4 includes the following: english, combined humanities, 1 math, 1 science and another best subject. &according to miss kim, we have to stay focused and so, i will devote myself to english, social studies, geography, emath, chemistry (hopefully.. i can't take bio cuz i CMI in that subject) and... and... mother tongue? *WAILS* but i rlyrlyrly don't like that subject. i guess i have to live with it. i mean i cannot count on bio (as i mentioned earlier, i rly CMI one) and amath (i failed this subject for mye leh, excuse me. &you're talking about a subject whereby only one single person passed from our entire math class, hello?) why must it be chinese? if only we could take up french, or japanese, or korean language. SIGHSSS.
throat's gonna get better, hopefully.
tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, and the day after the day after tomorrow are experiential learning days! how vehvehveh de nice!
