wah! kua tio gui!!!

one day a farmer's horse fell into a well. the animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. finally he decided that the animal was too old and the well needed to be covered up anyway. it just wasn't worth the effort to retrieve the horse. he got all his neighbors to come over to help him. they all grabbed a shovel and began to shove dirt into the well.
at first, the horse realized what was happening and cried horribly. then to everyone's amazement, he quieted down. a few shovels loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well and was astonished at what he saw.
with every shovel of dirt that hit his back, the horse would shake it off and take a step up. as the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up the well. everyone was amazed as the horse finally stepped up over the edge of the well and trotted off!
life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. the trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. each of our troubles is a stepping stone. we can get out of the deepest wells by not stopping, never giving up! (quoted from sec2 leadership camp 07 book).

i slept at 3 yesterday, what did i do? i wrote cards for people LOL. i springcleaned my study desk too. kind of satisfied; threw loads of paper away.

i didn't blog about monday's service hor... k, so the drama was great, there was some slight changes; positive changes. (: watching it the second time makes the drama boring, like you know what's gonna happen. i laughed before mr chang said "i mean forty percent." :X sineng (kangwei's friend) thought i was japanese! ::DD i thought he was a really nice guy to talk to, apart from treating childish people differently. he's from ntu, studying triple E. a plump guy behind kept shaking/vibrating his legs. so irritating can? he like purposely want piss me off liddat, retard. then keep changing sitting positions that's why hit+kick until my chair! cb, let people watch the drama in peace can? _l_ boring siollll, what can i do today?

why do you guys pangseh me after agreeing to come? y'know you got to be responsible for your own promises (well it's considered a promise because you assured me your presence). don't suka suka only sabo can! i had it y'know, it's not just one or two people doing this to me, but 3 people! look, is it my fault? was i giving you attitude or did i guailan you? no, from what i know, i was positive the whole time, with enthusiastic moments typing ":D" and ":)" in sms. or maybe you put your other friends/activities before me, even the non-important ones. let me advise you: when you make an appointment with someone already, don't go cancelling it just because another person asked you out to the movies. 'first come first serve' basis, ever heard? oh i geddit, you don't like me right? you feel so ashamed to go out with me right? ): i'm not good enough to be walking beside you ah? i'm not popular enough? i'm not likeable enough? it may sound like an excuse but reaching out is soo not easy.

the household expenditure survey; personal expenditure record is seriously troublesome! our household, together with the 10 thousand in central area, were chosen to do this crap. count yourself lucky if you didn't get chosen because you have no idea how leizhey it is. hopefully we will benefit from this 2-weeks-of-recording survey loh.
