overseas &band camp
morning went to ICI with mum and dad cos her passport expired. -_- we got a temporary passport, yay.
went for overseas on the 14th. went malaysia. -_- but it's fun. ok first day hopped into the car and off for causeway. details idk. or rather, i forgot. so too bad. on the rainy journey to malacca, my father was speeding at 130km/h. whoo. although scared will kana accident or anything, it was fun la. i mean how can you drive at 130km/h in heavily-rained singapore? hardly right? so good experience. slept in the car cos the journey was superduper long. saw weird things roaming on the streets like cows and goats. lmao. i rmb the first time i saw a cow, i said so loudly that my mother chua tio. lmfao. so we reached Riviera and we got a room at the ninth floor. but we changed room mainly cos there's no hot water, air-con's hot and there's cigarette butts scattered in one of the toilets. actually i realised that hotel's aircons take a very long time to really get cold. &at that time i was idiotic. i turned the aircon to 30 degrees celcius and above to test how cold the aircon can get. -_- lameshit. to think the guy who brought our bags and us to the room dint realise it. and he turned it above 30 degrees celcius some more. LOL we dumb people. the heated water also takes a very long time to actually reach the tap so that's not the room's fault. anw, we changed to a better room indeed. a better design also! cos there's two sides. the left room is nicer and bigger than the right. so fortunately, we got the bigger room after we changed. the only thing i don't like bout the second room is the smaller room's bed's not singles and separated. instead, the master bedroom's room's single but joined. but my father told me if two singles join together is called king-sized, whereas a big bed itself is queen-sized, aka much smaller. i admitted defeat and let my parents sleep in the master bedroom. after we settled down, we got a bit of disputes on where to go. then we decided to go down to swim. we realised that there's water activites at basement level. LN claimed that the water is dirty. it isnt la. just that got a lot of people and got dead leaves on the bed of the pool. we witnessed a wedding, from the pool LOL! the bride's old and LN actually thought she looked like Apple LOL! maybe they were shooting for a mag cover or smth hor? cos there were no guests and wedding witnesses anywhere near the hotel. while we were swimming, my mother made a new friend LOL. after bathing, we went to seafarer, a nearby food court, to eat our dinner after that. i ordered fried rice, malay-style omelette and mango juice. the mango juice was served first and i think it suck. lol the mango tasted hot. and it was very thick. i think they just squeezed the juice out and adding ice in it that's all. ew. my omelette was nice. but i was too full to finish it. same for the rice. i asked my mother to order shandy and she did. we shared and i hereby declare that SHANDY IS LOVE! i wasnt drunk. my father's tigerbeer made him drunk LOL. there was a singer singing on the stage thingy. my mother made friends with her when they met in the toilet. her name is ina and she gave LN lotsa tips for singing. yay good person! she's lonely and no one takes care of her two young children. ): haiz. god bless her! her husband is the talented guitarist on the stage with her. we were shocked. dint expect them to be a couple haha. so they let us sing on the stage. at first i was super enthu to do so. by the time we went up, left one table nia. -_- so we sang Jian Ao - 5566. then i tio wang ci LOL! psps! see im not cut out for singing. although i'm not like stagefrightened or anything, but i will blunder onstage. ha. &i felt ina was paying all her attention to LN and not me. just because she inspires to be a singer, and i dint? haww. but mum feedbacked to us that our first two lines' good. the rest is screwed by yours truly, proudly. you know why i think my father's drunk? he drove us back ma. then a bit crazy crazy one. then keep talking rubbish. when park car, he say must park sengeht so nearly hit the kerb so people difficult to tow away or smth. siao, liddat what if rly tio dent?! then want to come out of the parking lot also difficult loh. went back rly late. bathed and slept. first night slept with LN. couldn't sleep well cos i heard from LN that i kept hitting her and kicking her that night. i even snored, so she claimed. woke up early the next morning to catch the breakfast buffet LMAO. the food was okok. had no appetite cos of my bloody sinus. after breakfast, we were slacking la. cos dunno where to go also. sooo bored. we wanted to go kayaking and banana funride but the water was having it's low tide (LOL like having period liddat!). so at 5pm then can kayak. we gymed for quite along time. there's even a gymnastic room. mum taught me dancing abit. ha. we went down to the pool table but my father did not have enough change to play pool. haw. then my father went to the lobby to use internet on his laptop while da gals went into this salon where there were bracelets and necklaces. they were expensive that's why we did not buy. ): we were all at the lobby when my mum decided to go to some places of interest in malacca. so i'm like, "ok." and i helped to decide on where to go. we agreed on the wishing well place. but we ended up getting lost everywhere then finally driving round it and dapao-ing food back to the hotel. -_-# ha ok then we ate lunch and went down to see if we could kayak. then we met a family that wanted to go for banana ride too. we could join them. and they agreed on meeting at 10 tmr morning to ride the banana. we went to jonker's street after that and saw a lot of nice things like bags, shirts, accessories and pets! cute hamsters and even.. SCORPIONS! LOL. i wonder who in the world would keep a poisonous and dangerous insect for a pet. *shudders* lmao ok. we ate at Chicken Rice Balls. the food was ok. dishes were common. then we window shopped a little after dinner. i hereby declare (again) that malacca got shuaiges wor! a lot, manz! we could blend in with malacca people cos most of the city people are around our skin colour. mum said if we are lost, we will meet at the car. lost mom and LN due to walking too fast ahead and not looking back to see whether they are following or not. :l so we waited a while, hoping that they would be in sight. but haiz. then we went to the car and waited. shun bian was finding my phone as it bloody dropped when my father suddenly sha che on the way to jonker's. ended up sitting at the front seat. mum and LN bought a weird food. tried it, not nice. went back to hotel room and bathed. i slept after that i guess. slept very well last night. except i woke up once because of my blocked nose. woke up and rushed to level 1 for breakfast buffet. could eat better &we dapao different breads back LOL. then we went up to change and went basement to await our exciting rides! first was banana funride! :D so damn fking fun! bout 7 people on the balloon boat. LN, mum and i plus the other family's 4 people lah. while on the boat, could view the things at the shores. so nice. like touring the place. &the boat was going very fast. while it did a U-turn, the water was pouring into the banana LMAO. the water level was until half of our calfs. on the way back to shore, it was very windy and water was pitter-pattering on me. mostly from the boat that was pulling us along. i closed my eyes and lifted my head up to feel the breeze. shiok, bodoh. felt like screaming my lungs out. budden very diao la. later people chuo tio then fall into the sea LOL! when it reached near shore, we all jumped into the water. then we backstroked around. i kept blowing the whistle for nothing LOL. after the banana FUNride, LN and i kayak. tiring but fun. dowanna go into the details later LN angry. all i can say is i sat at the back and we kayaked for half an hour so it was worthwhile :DD we went up to bathe then we packed up before checking out. overall, we kept getting lost in malacca. LMAO. we drove to jb. jb is damn near singapore. 10km apart nia. slept in the car againxz. reached there. mum, LN and i took our belongings to the lobby first while my father went to check in a room. we got a 3rd floor one. mum wanted to change cos the pool could not be seen since our room was right at the far end. after settling down, we chiong to the swimming pool. was drizzling a lil and there were a lot of people. swam and realised i could swim really fast from one end to the other in a single breath. bo bian. this is one example of what drive people who do not know how to breathe while swimming into. we went up and bathed. went for dinner at tropical inn. we thought there would be a buffet budden there isnt. so we just ate the normal dishes. i'll take that as a father's day dinner. but wait, my father paid for the meal LOL. (man, i've yet to give him a present.) ate spaghetti di pollo and drank hot chocolate. my mother's dish was damn nice la! the taugua dish was fragrant and the japanese taupok was SUPERB! yummyyy! :D read table manners on urban. went back to the hotel and brush teeth blabla. then slept. woke up early that day and we went carrefour to shop. before we reached carrefour, there's this kiosk selling clothes. we chose some and asked the shopowner to help us reserve LOL, cos we buying afterwards. on the way to carrefour, saw this petshop and zomg, there were brazilian frogs, cats, porcupines and even.. chameleon (i think) for sale! wonder why singapore got so little petshops selling exotic pets. ): msia sell scorpions and chaemeleon sia. bought clothes and snacks from carrefour. chewing gum from there too. my mum even bought a swimming costume from there. msia clothing cutting is sibei small la. i wear M like S sia. there's no FBT shorts there!! ahhhh..! nvm. i think sg carrefour have. but dunno when can go there. we collected our clothes and we went for lunch at the Food Court. not nice la the food. i ate claypot yee mee and drank nata de cocoa. passed by a ice-cream kiosk. the malay guy was like so young, 'round 15. so we decided to buy his ice-cream. i chose kiwi, LN chose passion fruit and dad&mum bought Mixed Flavour each. kiwi's sour. x_X back to hotel, then we went to swim. my father and mother went down to swim too. i was even faster than my mom. balik kampung! LOL. went up to eat snack before going back to the room to bathe. we packed up before checking out. slept in the car againxz lmao. there was a jam in malaysia highway that was leading to causeway. so there were two uncle sams and one of them ask everyone to use the other road and keep left. we were puzzled. must go one big round before using sle back to sg. checkpoint was very slow in checking passports, my father quipped. we tio go office. chey.. is just my mother's temp. passport can only go one destination so must go sign something. i thought want do a thorough check sia! i still go hide the chewing gum LOL! home sweet home! bathed and watch the past 2 days' drama series with mum and LN.
first day of band camp: captain's ball. was slacking and not playing. then band practice. lunch-ed. then games. then band practice. so... nothing to talk about lor. i so dont enjoy them. except i could play better now. i like playing edelweiss! so easy! hahahahah. mr nonami came. sweehan's handwriting's very nice!
&i did not buy sourvenirs back for anyone. you want, i have gums nia.
p/s: everly is better because it is a resort. next time when you're in a dilemma of choosing between two hotels, pick the resort one. (:
&although i only went to th country above us, it was an enjoyable and unforgettable experience! contentment is just so easy to achieve, as long as you keep an open mind.
